Al Kapone aka Al Kapeezy is a Memphis rap pioneer, multi platinum songwriter, and community service advocate.

AL wrote and produced songs for many films like Hustle and Flow which would win many awards including Oscar Award winning music.

One song “Whoop That Trick” would become a standout and fans made it the Memphis Grizzlies along with many other sports teams’ unofficial fan chants. AL also became one of the first hip hop Grammy Chapter Presidents for the Memphis Chapter of the Grammys.

 AL continues to develop his music career as an artist/performer, pioneering a new blend of blues and rap with the BWA band. The Blues Rap Mane ep is available on all streaming sites along with several videos showcasing his new blues rap sound. His single “Vice Grip” is currently getting airplay on blues soul stations in Memphis, TN, Jackson, TN, Little Rock, AR, Charleston, SC. as he is set to tour the blues market with this new sound.
